‘Conversion’ success at Twickenham
When Twickenham Stadium, home of English Rugby, embarked on a massive redevelopment project to increase the stand capacity and introduce a hotel and conference centre, Space Engineering Services were more than willing to be involved.
After receiving approval from Richmond Council's planning committee, Space Engineering were asked to play a vital role in the development of a 4star, luxury Marriott Hotel, located in the stadium's new south stand. The company was contracted to design and install the key mechanical services for this high profile project
So what did we do?
Working in partnership with Cornhill Interiors, Space Engineering designed and installed the key mechanical services including the installation of all the heating, cooling, ventilation, water services & controls to all 156 hotel bedrooms, reception areas, six state-of-the-art VIP suites overlooking the pitch and the 3 floors of conference and exhibition space.
The hard work of our team meant the hotel successfully opened in November 2008.
