European leaders team up to provide latest CO2 technology

19/04/2010 05:26

Two leading players in the European refrigeration industry have teamed up to provide CO2 based systems for the British market.

Space Engineering Services and the Danish manufacturer Advansor A/S have struck a deal to develop, promote and install the environmentally-friendly systems in the UK.

Space Engineering Services is already a leader in the British market in the design, installation and maintenance of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical services for businesses and public sector organisations.

Advansor A/S is a household name in Scandinavia and specialises in the design and build of refrigeration and heat pump equipment using CO2 as a refrigerant.

CO2 technology has an important role to play in both protecting the environment and helping major energy consumers meet their Carbon Reduction Commitments, the mandatory emissions trading scheme which comes into force in January 2010.

Dean Frost, Managing Director at Space Engineering Services, explains:

"This partnership means that our customers will now be able to confidently partner with an integrated services provider equipped with the most advanced and well-proven CO2 technology on the market."

"This new initiative complements the on-going investment we are making in our CO2 training programme to ensure our operatives are up-to-speed with this technology."

Torben M. Hansen, Director at Advansor says: "This is an important step in our strategy to build on our strong home market presence by extending into other European markets. The agreement with Space Engineering is of utmost importance to us and we believe that together, we are the strongest team in our field."
