Finalist at the HVR Awards 2010

Space Engineering Services are delighted to have been selected as finalists for the ‘Sustainable Project of the Year Award’ at the 2010 HVR Awards.Hosted by Heating and Ventilating Review, the awards ceremony took place for the first time on September 22, 2010 at St Ermin's Hotel, Westminster.

Space Engineering Services were appointed to manage the mechanical and electrical installation for the Edginswell Building 3 project, as part of a £24m new Business Park development in Torquay.

Building 3 is a two storey structure with a large open office space and two medium sized areas, both with exclusive parking. Space Engineering Services were contracted to complete the £330K mechanical and electrical installation to the first floor office space and ground floor annex. As the M&E contractor Space Engineering provided a design consultancy, project management and installation service.

With any new buildings the focus is now on the potential environmental impact, so providing energy efficiency for this project was key. Our in-house design team worked closely with the project managers to produce the most cost effective and energy efficient solution.
