Space Engineering Services prides itself on having the best team in the refrigeration industry, made up of a great blend of experience, commitment, knowledge and energy.
Leading this team is our Engineering Board, and here are some short introductions to each of the members.
Having played a fundamental role in the history and development of Space Engineering Services, John has helped shape the company into what it is today. As Chairman, John brings financial acumen and experience and ensures the business fulfils its ethical commitment.
Responsible for the overall performance, setting and implementing priorities, Dale ensures that the future direction of the business is aligned with its vision and values. Dale’s measured approach and trust in the commitment and expertise of his teams ensures continued success for our customers, investors and employees.
Finance Director & Group Functions
Safeguarding the stability and security of Space Engineering Services both now and in the future, Charles is responsible for all aspects of the financial management of the company, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting. Charles is also responsible for group functions including IT and Fleet, as well as being Company Secretary.
Operations Director Capital
Overseeing the successful delivery of our capital projects including the financial aspects is Paul’s responsibility. Paul brings to the company unrivalled understanding of the industry and a clear focus at all times on meeting our customers’ needs and striving to exceed their expectations.
With his enduring passion for the industry, Roger has been leading Space Engineering Services’ Design team since its creation in 2005. Roger is responsible for the design governance of our retail refrigeration projects and supported by his team, develops and implements innovative, market-leading designs.
Business Development & Marketing Director
Peter has spent much of his career in the retail sector, holding senior roles with Tesco, Waitrose and John Lewis. Peter brings exceptional expertise in facilities management and has a real passion for developing people and teams. Peter is incredibly customer-centric with a significant understanding of our customers’ needs. This makes him ideally placed to lead our business’s growth.
People & Development Director
Diane joined our business at the start of 2020 and has transformed our former HR function into a dynamic People & Development team. Diane brings with her real energy and empathy for our colleagues, which is a strong benefit, not just to her area of specialism but to the Board as a whole.
Service & Maintenance Director
Richard has been with our business since 2006 and is one of our most experienced leaders. His broad experience across service and maintenance is invaluable especially when delivering our renowned high levels of customer service. Richard has a passion for ensuring that our delivery levels are best in class.
