ECO2 MAXI Refrigeration Packs

Space Engineering were engaged to manufacture two CO2 packs for a multi-temperature facility in the South East of England.

Based on the clients needs, our Pack Build team designed, specified, built and supplied 2-off ECO2 MAXI Housed DT Refrigeration plant with parallel compression, remote flat-bed gas cooler, LT desuperheater and heat reclaim.

    

The compressor criteria included 293kW design capacity for the MT and 220kW design capacity on the LT.

   

The packs included 2no 230L intermediate liquid receiver vessels (460L total capacity) with a receiver dual PRV set on 3-way bypass valve.

   

The walk-in enclosure consisted of a dual pack housing structure, which was double skinned with air inlet grilles, disharge air duct and integral centrifugal extract fans and anti-vibration mounts.  The two doors each had door stay and emergency release.

This was the largest capacity and biggest value plant our Pack Build team have supplied to date.
