Not all grateful customers are of the human variety… When Space Refrigeration Engineers Nick Thorne and Jake Perkins were investigating a gas leak at a retail store in Seaton this week, they came to the rescue of two seagulls trapped in the netted area.
Having released the first seagull, Nick then approached the second bird who, Nick says, was ‘much more chilled’ than the first. Perhaps realising that Nick was his only hope of freedom, he was happy to be picked up and pose for a selfie, before flying off into the sky.
Birds released and gas leak fixed ✔️
