The Space Engineering Services team were out in force at Bath’s biggest careers event – the Bath College Futures Apprenticeships and Jobs Fair.
More than 900 visitors attended the annually organised event which took place on 22nd March at the Guildhall in Bath.
Among them were young people from local schools and colleges keen to learn out about their career options, and they weren’t disappointed. Over 50 regional and national employers were present on the day, armed full of information and advice about how 16 to 19 years olds can use their existing skills and build further on them to secure an employed position or an apprenticeship.
Key staff from our Plant Manufacturing and Building Services teams represented Space Engineering Services at the event, which was open to schools, parents and the wider public to learn more about apprenticeship opportunities – which aren’t just for those leaving school.
With so much interest in our business from visitors, our team had a brilliant time speaking to everyone about the type of work we do and the opportunities we can offer those interested in the refrigeration and mechanical and electrical sector – either hands on roles or office based.
We’re committed to supporting the next generation of Engineers, and we’d encourage anyone with an interest in our sector to reach out and find out more. As a nationwide operation with our headquarters in Bristol, we provide a whole host of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical services to businesses in the UK and further afield, supported by several regional offices in strategic locations around the country.
At Space Engineering Services, we’re always looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to join us, and in return you can be part of a team of talented people working collaboratively in a supportive environment.
