Product enhancement & value engineering for Pack Build

The manufacturing team at Space Engineering are always looking at ways to improve our product offering.  Our recent focus has been on our ECO2 MINI 2×1 pack and our ECO2 MIDI 4×2 pack.

We have completed a full value engineering project on our smaller size ECO2-MINI-2×1 plant products, which can be offered in either a packaged solution (pack with integrated gas cooler) or housed pack and remote gas cooler

Benefits achieved:

• Fewer brazed joints to minimise potential leak points.
• Ease of production for improved efficiencies.
• Simplified ergonomic design.
• Improved access for service & maintenance.
• Future proofed for integration From an HT system to a DT system.
• Maximum efficiencies allowing best product at the best price.

Throughout 2023, we have made numerous enhancements based upon on-site feedback to our medium size ECO2-MIDI-4×2 plant products, which can be offered in external single or dual walk-in enclosures.

Numerous benefits were achieved, including;

• Further reductions in brazed joints to minimise potential leak points, these claimed through maximising pre-formed bends to all areas.
• On-going improvements to frame structure to improve manufacturing process and maximise durability.
• Introduction of VS Drive housing brackets with rubber anti-vibration mounts to aid cooling ventilation and minimise vibration to the drives.
• All access point valves now located on specific valve points.
• Oil separator clamping point to the top to maximise rigidity.

• Improved access for service & maintenance.
• Maximum efficiencies allowing best product at the best price.
