Space Engineering Services was delighted to be involved in the development of the new, super-impressive M&S at Cabot Circus in Bristol’s city centre. Led by Project Managers Sam Torrington and Rob Gentry. Our teams were responsible for the refrigeration M&E installation and commissioning, as well as management of direct purchase items, including all new remote and integral cabinets and the fabric installation and fit-out out of two new cold room suites.
Fun Fact❄️When it came to positioning the two dual temperature refrigeration systems on top of the six-storey building, the crane needed to lift the height, reach, and weight of the equipment, had to be built onsite by another crane!
Also included in our project scope was the installation of the pipework from the bottom to top of the building (no mean feat!), and power and data installation to all refrigeration, cold rooms and cabinets in the food hall and customer café.
