Space engineer, William Traverso, recently attended a large retail store in Newton Abbot, where the air conditioning unit wasn’t performing as it should. On inspection, the filters were heavily clogged and the front grille was full of dirt .. restricting airflow and putting significant strain on the system.
The unit was carefully stripped down, thoroughly cleaned and returned to proper operation.
When airflow is restricted, systems have to work much harder, energy use increases, and wear on important components, like compressors, accelerates.
Regular maintenance doesn’t just fix issues, it helps to prevent them.
