We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity.

Where an individual has an existing relationship with us we will use the data held in order to carry out the services we provide. Where the client is a prospective customer, or a past customer not currently contractually engaged with our services, we will only use the data to send marketing messages where we have received their express permission to do so.

We will clearly offer an opportunity within all our marketing communications to opt out of receiving marketing related information from us, which, if enacted, will lead to the client being removed from our records.

We do not share lists of clients with any other company for any commercial purpose. We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletters. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. We have procedures and security features in place to keep your data secure once we receive it.

The Space Engineering Services website is secured with SSL encryption which can be seen through the ‘lock’ icon on your browser. Non-sensitive details (such as email address) are transmitted over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, whilst we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk.

Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. We use a client database to hold personal information about customers and prospective customers. This can only be accessed by a limited number of Space Engineering Services employees. At Space Engineering Services, we are committed to the highest standards of data protection and confidentiality.

We use secured electronic folders to store job applicants’ CVs, and will only use the data contained within them for the purpose of assessing them for their suitability for a role, and/or to contact them to advise them they have or have not been successful in the job application process.

Anyone who has provided their data to Space Engineering Services has the right to access and view the data that we hold that relates to them, as well as the aforementioned right to opt-out of our communications and to be removed from (forgotten by) our system. Such requests should be made in writing using the details in section 10. Initial requests of information will not incur a charge, however subsequent requests may incur an administrative fee.

Our website contains links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites, not the content of these websites, and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
